The State of Maryland is in deep financial trouble. Mr. Hogan left a surplus of $*****. Mr. Moore has spent it all and about that much again. How do you deal with debt when you want to still spend more? You increase your income. How do you do that if you are a governor? You raise taxes.

Governor Moore and the Democratically run General Assembly have imposed more taxes. This leaves a few questions. Most importantly, does all this spending produce better results?
